Case study: Conservatory air conditioning

Dr. Brown called Ander-Teknix Ltd, he had a south facing conservatory which was too hot in summer and too cold in winter, not an ideal scenario!

Whilst carrying out a free survey, Dr. Brown advised the Ander-Teknix sales engineer that the price was acceptable, but could we make provision to air condition an extension to his house when he could afford to have it built.

The Ander-Teknix solution

Our engineer discussed an outdoor condenser with provision to connect 4 indoor units in total, thus allowing for expansion to the home air conditioning system as necessary. The air conditioning was installed and the doctor had a pleasant and usable conservatory.

Home extension air conditioning

A year later, the extension was built and Ander-Teknix were back again to air condition the new kitchen and bedroom. Mrs. Brown didn’t want a wall mounted air conditioner in the bedroom and didn’t want a big ugly grille in the ceiling, the likes of which she had seen in hotels. Ander-Teknix brought along various samples and catalogues, and a suitable outlet grille was chosen along with a loft mounted, ducted air conditioner. We selected an oversized unit to allow for an additional duct to be located in their daughter’s bedroom, two rooms for the price of one!

The doctor and his wife were very happy, particularly as the bedroom system was virtually invisible as well as silent in operation.

Doctor’s surgery air conditioning

Some weeks later, Dr. Brown phoned the office, again. His house was wonderfully cool, but his doctors surgery was hot. Could we please quote for an air conditioner for his consulting room? An appointment was made and Ander-Teknix visited him at work.

The only trouble was, the other doctors had decided they wanted air conditioning as well, and they had a server room which regularly overheated… could we now quote to air condition the whole building, 15 rooms? Of course we could. Another successful installation!
