Case study: factory heating, ventilation, air conditioning & electrics

Client: Wendland Roof Solutions Ltd

Brief

To provide heating and ventilation in the factory area, air conditioning to the administration offices and completely rewire the electrics at their new facility in Gloucester.

Issues

The new factory at Wendland required an even temperature throughout, in order to maintain a consistently precise manufacturing process of UPVC extrusions. Ventilation was a major issue due to hazardous processes during manufacture.

We were given a deadline for completion as the client had to move in at short notice.

Ander-Teknix solutions

Our solution to the heating issue was resolved by installing gas radiant heating throughout, eliminating hot and cold spots completely.

Our design engineers utilised our CAD system to provide full ventilation in the offices and factory. A specially designed filtration system ensured no harmful particulates were emitted into the atmosphere.

All works were carried out on time and to the client's budget.
